Room is excellent and authentic, stuff is so friendly and polite. If you call the room service asking for any help, they will come to you in a minute. Terrace is amazing, pool is amazing. The room is actually very big, a lot of little things are provided here that you will not find in any other hotel (ex: cookies if you want to drink tea, ice for your whisky, candles in your bathroom and terrace). Location is in the center of Ubud. If you want to feel the actual jungle atmosphere it's the best place. Overall I'm very satisfied and want say thank you Komaneka stuff, here you can feel at home. After a long flight when I came to the room and to the terrace I relaxed right away. Here you can just sit and listen to the sounds of the jungle and of the mountain river. In this hotel you can feel a personal attitude to you, that's wonderful. I just can't express in words my satisfaction of staying here and once again want to say thanks a lot to all the people who are working here.

The tranquility of this hotel is next level. The beautiful peaceful grounds and infinity pool were gorgeous. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk into main Ubud (Monkey Forest Rd). We had a family suite which was located on the lower levels. We did need to keep our window shades mostly closed for privacy. The room was big and plenty of space for a family of 3 adults. The little lounge area and small kitchen was sufficient. No coffee machine. The walk track around this hotel is so beautiful, we saw plenty of little waterfalls, animals and the thriving Campluhg River. The road outside of the hotel JL Bisma is challenging. There’s sporadic footpaths, not easy to walk as you’re competing with the transport. Plenty of restaurants and mini marts around the streets outside of the hotel. This is a very quiet and peaceful hotel. The staff as usual in Bali were excellent.

- The staff are extremely helpful and kind, and also very child-friendly. We have a one-year-old and he always had fun with the staff when sitting on the baby chair for meals- which could be quite challenging for parents of young children. Several ladies even offered to babysit for a while for us to finish our meals, that was extra kind. - The public swimming pool is not huge but the water is clean. - The rooms are spacious and very tidy. They even came to fold the bedsheets twice a day. The bacthrooms are better than the pictures on the website: hugh and with a lovely bathtub. - An extra lugguage/coat room is much appreciated. - The complimentary daily yoga classes are great for beginners, and take place at the beutiful chapel. - The kitchen makes great international cuisines. - Love the bed time stories of Ubud offered on the bed every night!

The Komaneka at Bisma is a very elegant and well designed hotel. It sits on a hillside overlooking forest and rice paddies. The pool area is beautiful with dark tiles that merges the pool to the forest surrounds. The room was very spacious and everything worked well. Little details like hand wrapping soap in the shower, a loofah supplied, ice bucket always filled with fresh ice. The restaurant overlooks the pool and forest of green. The menu had a great mix of Asian, Indonesian and international food. I thoroughly enjoyed trying all the different Balinese and Indonesian dishes. So fresh and tasty! The hotel is situated a 10 minute walk from Ubud central. Coming back into the hotel after wandering the streets was a joy with the noise of the streets disappearing behind.

As a frequent traveler, this is one of the best hotel I stayed in. We were there for 6 nights, taking padel training at Basic Padel bisma next door. The staff, facilities, location were incredible. The garden, pool, restaurant, room service. We ate almost all our meals there, never had the same dishes. We do not eat meat. An incredible variety a la carte.plenty of vegetarian and seafood options. And the cook prepare some extra local desserts for us. We feel blessed and grateful for having discovered this place and will come back. We used the bikes to cycle to our padel lessons were treated by a welcome home sophie every time we arrived. We used the spa on daily basis . Wonderful treatments. The rainforest view is beautiful . Agree with all the other comments
